I would like to share the information I read about the  special medicinal  quality of CINNAMON.   When does adding something more to your plate help you lose weight?   When what you're adding is a sprinkle of cinnamon, it seems. A study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition in 2009 showed that when a teaspoon of the flavorsome spice was added to rice pudding, insulin levels of subjects stayed low in comparison with those who didn't have the cinnamon.  In another study from a Maryland USDA research centre, scientists found that when cinnamon was added to apple pie, eating the pie did not cause the expected raise in blood sugar, despite its being a sweet dessert. TIPS FOR COOKING

Hi friends, I am going to share the tips for cooking with you.Now a recipe you will like. Sabz  Arhar Dal  with Rice Dals are usually quite easy to make. Sabz arhar dal is a quite an interesting healthy recipe. Process incorporate: firstly, chop your favorite vegetables (tomato, blanched spinach, peas etc.), put arhar dal (100gms) to the cooker, and add all the chopped vegetables, pour 2 cups water. Also sprinkle over turmeric powder (1 tsp), red chili powder (1 tsp), amchoor powder (1 tsp) and salt (to taste). Lid the cooker and wait for at least three whistles. Once dal is done we need to prepare tadka( seasoning) for cooked dal. Take a separate pan add desi ghee heat it, add chopped onion, garlic flakes. Pour this tadka over cooked dal. Finally sprinkle garam masala (1 tsp) and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Serve this delicious dal with   plain rice . As a beginner keep in mind: Arhar dal does not take much time to cook.
